The Heart Bloom application has been updated to an newer version: Heart Bloom Mobile. It has been tested on the Libelle Zomerweek 15-21 May 2017.
During the Dubai Design Week, HeartBloom creates a drawing of beauty, a unique postcard and also a greeting from the “heart”. The participants wrote down their wishes with Heart Bloom flower and sent it to some one they love. More than 200 heart bloom postcards carrying the hearty greeting were mailed to all over the world, close the distance of the heart and heart.

Heart Bloom's first meet with Hartstichting for Charity. On this day, we brought Heart Bloom outdoor in Philips Campus. It served as a interactive installation to record the heart blooms for runnings when they finish their charity-purpose long-distance running.
A double portrait in oil paint of Rogier and Asnate was created by their heartbeats data. It was exhibited at Symbosis in the Museum Cognacq-Jay in Paris!
A collection of Heart Bloom cards was made by children with heart disease. It is Created during an event by Patiëntenvereniging Aangeboren Hartafwijkingen on 18 September and supported by Hartstichting – Hartvrienden.
With Heart Bloom we visit a series of charitable public activities organised by the Hartstichting. At these events we bring Heart Bloom to children with a heart disease. The interaction with Heart Bloom empowers them to see, hear and feel the ‘seed’ inside their body blooming into a ‘flower’ with every beat of their heart.
Heart Bloom brings the positive message that everyone is special, and that the hearts of children with CHD might function abnormal but create unique and beautiful flowers. We also believe that these activities tie the relationship of children with their own heart, their family and the friendships among other children with a heart disease.
Curators Woes van Haaften and Roosje van Donselaar present "Heart Bloom", as installation by Rogier Arents and Bin YU. Together with the public, they will visually tranlate our longing and need for peace.
During Manifeest the visitors can record their heartbeat. A pen plotter will translate these data to a person heart bloom.Together the individual prints form a monumental image. This Gesamtkunstwerk shows that each individul is unique, as well as our oneness.
Started as a Bio-feedback design project in the lab, HEART BLOOM has grown into a live installation, especially for children with a congenital heart defect. Through the pen plotter techniques, HEART BLOOM lets them see, hear and feel their internal "little seed" grows to blossom into a beautiful flower, beat after beat. During the DDW, a collective artwork of 500 heart blooms will be finished by the donations from the visitors.
A first Ipad application is buildt in collaboration with the Dutch Heart Foundation especially for fundraising during Valentines day. A special Heart Bloom / Hartstichting cart supporting 4 Ipads and a printer have been developed for promotional activities for the Hartstichting.
